A section of Southwest Medical Center’s north wall is currently missing following Monday’s heavy winds. Director of Plant Operations Tracy Robinson said the maintenance staff has some extra work to do today. “With that straight west wind, it over pressurized my air intake and blew a section of the wall out,” Robinson said. “That is the best way of putting that. We don’t get a lot of storms out of the straight west, and especially 60 mph winds, so it just came apart.” Daily Leader photo/
