PLAINS – Vicki L. Denney, 60, died Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita.

She was born August 12, 1949, to Glenn and Glorene (Lester) Morrill in Ponca City, Okla.

She attended school in Lamont, Okla.

She married Larry Denney in 1967.  The couple later divorced.  

She owned and operated Denney’s Liquor Store for twenty years.

She is survived by one son, Rockie Denney,  Denver; one brother, Ron Morrill, Plains; one grandson, Christopher Amerin, Plains and one great-granddaughter, Hailey E. Amerin, Plains.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one nephew, Glenn Morrill.

o Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary Chapel in Meade with Pastor Neal Foster presiding.

Friends may call until 7 p.m. today and from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary Chapel.

Burial will follow at the Plains Cemetery.
