Ruby Williams, 85, died Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Kansas Medical Center in Andover.
She was born January 15, 1925, to Roscoe Hoskins and wife in Render, Ky.
She graduated from Liberal High School in 1943.
She married Rondal Williams on August 7, 1943, in Liberal. He preceded her in death March 11, 1999.
She was an Accounts Payable Clerk for Ideal Foods and Blakemore Brothers for 30 years.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She was a member of Southwest Medical Center Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary.
She enjoyed bowling and dancing.
She is survived by three daughters, Diana Sue Kilgore and husband, Gary, Gasquet, Calif., Marilyn Winner and husband, Loyd, Porterville, Calif. and Ronda Maxwell and husband, Terry, Liberal; five grandchildren, Desiree Maxwell, Nashville, Tenn., Landen Maxwell and wife, Angel, Yukon, Okla., Chelsee Maxwell, Edmond, Okla., Darla Buechner and husband, Matt, Citrus Heights, Calif. and Craig Kilgore and wife, April, Crescent City, Calif.; 11 great-grandchildren, Amaia and Landen, Jr. Maxwell, Cameron Maxwell, Beau and Sarah Kilgore, Mandy, Crystal, Samantha and Jeremiah Buechner and Alyson and Abby O’Bosky; one great-great-grandchild, Jazzy Buechner; and one sister-in-law, Roberta Williams, Liberal.
She was also preceded in death by her father; one grandson, Dennis O’Bosky; and one brother, Hal J. Koskins.
o Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rex Petty presiding.
Burial will be at Liberal Cemetery.
Friends may call 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home with the family present from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
