In Loving Memory
Mildred Madeline Dent passed from this life on April 16, 2010.
She was born in Canton, Texas, July 8, 1921. She married George W. Dent in 1940 at Murchison, TX. George preceded her death in 2001. They lived in Sherman, Texas for over 60 years.
Mildred worked for the Heritage Country Manor Nursing Home for over 20 years. Mildred leaves behind her son, Richard W. Dent and daughter-in-law Sharon Dent of Liberal. She had three grandchildren: Heather Gould and husband Ron of Forney, Texas; Holly McCarter and husband Troy of Liberal and Ryan Dent and wife Ashleigh of Tulsa, Okla. Mildred was blessed with seven great-grandchildren.
Mildred was fortunate to have many friends in Liberal and especially at the Good Samaritan Center located at 2160 Zinnia Lane in Liberal. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ and when she was able, she accompanied her son in his preaching appointments.
o Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home in Liberal with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m. to greet friends at the funeral home.
Mildred’s body will be interred at the Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Texas.
The Dent family wishes to thank all who showed such great kindness and compassionate care during her last days.
