GUYMON, Okla. – Ruth Ann Tanquary, 67, died Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Memorial Hospital of Texas County.
She was born Dec. 16, 1942, to Henry and Lenora (Zwonitzer) Nissen in Bloomfield, Neb.
She married James Milton Tanquary on June 17, 1960, in Alliance, Neb. He survives.
She graduated from Alliance High School with the Class of 1960.
She was a homemaker and note teller with the Texhoma (Okla.) First National Bank for 25 years, retiring in 2007.
She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church and member of the Texhoma Fire Department Auxiliary.
Other survivors include four children, Mike Tanquary and wife, Carrie, Texhoma, Raymond Tanquary and wife, Belinda, Texhoma, Theresa Zieber, Liberal, and Jeff Tanquary, Texhoma; one brother, David Nissen, West Minister, Colo.; one sister, Dorothy Turnage, Bossier City, La.; eight grandchildren, Holly, Misty, Stacy, Chris, Coty, Chad, Zachery and Tyler; and eight great-grandchildren, Kayla, Jonathan, Mason, Mariah, Jesse, Dakota, Eathan and Dylan.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
o Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Texhoma with Pastor John Wackler presiding.
Burial will follow at the Texhoma Cemetery.
