Obituary

Wanna L. Hurrell, 97, died Monday, April 12, 2010, at Liberal Good Samaritan Center.

She was born Sept. 27, 1912, to Clarence Carthage, Mo.

She attended school at Walnut Grove, Mo.

She was a cook at several cafes and restaurants in Liberal, cooking at the Haymow Club for over 20 years.

She was a member of the Faith Tabernacle in Liberal.

Survivors include one son, Charles “Buck” Reynolds, Kaw Lake, Okla.; seven daughters, Joyce Loper and husband, Marvin, Haysville, Euola Flores and husband, Joe, Tyrone, Okla., Carolyn Kunkel and husband, Bob, Olive Branch, Miss., Ellyn Jo Miller and husband, Arlin, Branson, Mo., Wanna Nichswonger and husband, Bob, Sandusky, Ohio, and Dynanna Novak and husband, Lynn, Tyrone; 29 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; and numerous great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; one daughter, Vickie Hall; and three grandchildren.

o Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, at  the Miller Chapel with the Rev. Rex Petty presiding.

Interment will be at the Liberal Cemetery.

Friends may call from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. to service time Friday at Miller Mortuary.
