Greg Blackwood, 62, died Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at his home.
He was born May 20, 1947, to Beil Robert and Tinie Cozette (Cash) Blackwood in Lubbock, Texas.
He married Michael Ann Buck May 29, 1971 in Stephenville, Texas. She survives.
He was a farmer and rancher.
He was a member of Sublette Southern Baptist Church.
He loved his family and enjoyed being with them. His hobbies were hunting, fishing and team roping with his son. He never met a stranger and enjoyed visiting.
Other survivors include, one son, Shane Blackwood and wife, Keeley, Liberal; one daughter, Cynthia Diann Moree, Liberal; his mother; one brother, Beil Rodney “Rod” Blackwood, Lubbock; seven grandchildren, Kyle Ray Moree, Kody Lynn Moree, Kelsi Ann Moree, Katie Dian Moree, Kacie Dawn Moree, Brett Gregory Blackwood and Braxton Garet Blackwood; one godchild, Lane Gregory Everett; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and one son-in-law, Tony Moree.
o Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, at the Haskell County Fairgrounds Arena in Sublette with Pastor Shane Lester presiding.
Burial will be at the Arkalon Cemetery in Liberal.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. to noon Friday at the Haskell County Funeral Home in Sublette.
