National awards will be given during special recognition ceremony

By ROY ALLEN

Seward sports information director

Come out to the campus tennis courts at 3 p.m. Friday to catch your first glimpse of the 2014-2015 Seward County Saints and Lady Saints tennis teams as they take part in the Green and White Challenge.

Seward head coach Jerry Thor will split both his men’s and women’s teams in two, and the teams will compete in a match like dual meet with three doubles matches on each side and six men’s as well as four women’s singles matches.

Prior to the matches, Jerry Odle will be cooking BBQ, and coach Thor will present last year’s national awards to his returners.

As always, admission is free, so make sure to bring your lawn chairs, a cold drink, and find yourself a comfy spot to settle in to watch two of the top teams in the country battle it out in the Green and White Challenge.
