Come to the Baker Arts Center at 624 N. Pershing to create basic thrown and hand-built ceramic forms to be fired in the Raku process.

This Japanese method produces metallic and iridescent surfaces on the pieces.

Class will meet from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday,  Sept.,  12  and  from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13. Glazing will be from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26. Raku firing from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27,

Cost is $40 for members and $50 for nonmembers. Call 624-2810 for more information and to enroll.
