If you haven’t heard, the United States Central Intelligence Agency admitted Thursday some of its agents have been spying on the U.S. Senate and its Senate Intelligence Committee. Seems the CIA had an interest in the committee’s emails and have been secretly and covertly intercepting them.
FoxNews reported it like this; “According to a declassified CIA inspector general’s report, CIA officers improperly accessed Senate computers, read the emails of Senate staff, and exhibited a ‘lack of candor’ when interviewed by (IG’s) agency investigators.”
CIA Director John Brennan even had to apologize to the committee’s leaders.
What Brennan forgot to tell them was, “Not only am I sorry, but I should be – along with the staff and their bosses who did this – arrested for breaking the law and participating in an act of subterfuge against the Legislative Branch – an overtly unconstitutional act by the executive branch.”
Of course, he didn’t say that. He takes his marching orders from the Commander in Sleeze, er Chief.
We now have evidence, however insignificant the Dems want to portray it, that the executive branch is being used by Obama for political purposes and “possible” high crimes and/or misdemeanors.
The IRS has been used to thwart the political will of a free people who may disagree with Obama’s liberal agenda. The Department of Justice has been used to try and thwart the constitutional right to own and bear arms (Fast and Furious scandal).
When the IRS could not find wrongdoing of some Tea Party groups, Obama’s people called in the DEA, OSHA, EPA and the FBI to “investigate” those folks.
If Obama supporters can justify this illegal behavior and these illegal actions, I’d sure like to hear from them. Where’s the Letters to the Editor praising these unconstitutional acts?
Obama used his own executive order to change the laws of this nation when he mandated it was OK for immigrant children brought here against their knowledge to stay without having to go through the same procedures millions of legal migrants do to become citizens.
Obama has changed the Affordable Care Act 25 to 42 times, depending on who is counting. Again, it’s unconstitutional and illegal for the executive branch to change a legislative law passed by Congress.
Of course, Attorney General Eric Holder is abetting all this unlawfulness by not appointing Independent Counsels to investigate these things. Dems learned if you appoint an Independent Counsel – say like Independent Counsel Ken Starr – it could get your Democrat President – like Bill Clinton, impeached.
In fact, Starr found that Clinton had broken the law during his handling of the Lewinsky scandal and the Paula Jones lawsuit, and Clinton was impeached by the U.S. House of Representatives for “perjury” and “obstruction of justice.”
Those impeachable crimes are nothing compared to Obama’s shenanigans, but Holder is protecting his Don at all costs.
When I see all this, it makes me realize the Obama Administration is all so very “Chicago.”
By that, I mean Chicago became a city in 1830 and some 25 years later, organized crime took root and has only grown more entrenched since. It is the capital of crime-ridden politics, strong-armed gangsters and a wanton disregard for “decency.”
Now we have a neighborhood organizer from Chicago in the White House who claims to have taught Constitutional Law.
Well, teaching activists how to circumvent and stomp on the Constitution is not the kind of teaching I – and many others – respect. He mocks the Constitution because he does not even remotely respect it. He’s doing everything he can to change it with only his pen and a phone. Anyone that gets in his way be damned.
If you don’t believe me, watch what he does for illegal immigrants – he will soon allow literally millions of illegals to obtain amnesty.
That would be illegal and unconstitutional, but he knows it will take years to overturn in the courts, and he’s hoping enough of them and their families will vote Democrat in November – helping him to slow the GOP gains that will occur in the Senate.
He knows if he loses the Democrat majority in the Senate, he won’t have anything to do for two years except to play even more golf.
I’m personally hoping he gets to play 36 holes a day for seven days a week for 24 months straight.
