BILL WILSON

Bill Wilson, 75, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008, at his home.

He was born Feb. 1, 1933, to Bill and Florence O. Parker Wilson in Cherokee, Okla.

He married Donna D. Johnson Dec. 6, 1953, in Mooreland, Okla. She survives.

He graduated from Mooreland High School in 1951 and Southwestern Oklahoma State University School of Pharmacy in 1960.

He was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C., being honorably discharged in 1961. He owned and operated the El Kan Drug from 1968 to the present.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Mooreland.

He was a member of Elks Lodge No. 1947 of Liberal and the Kansas Pharmacists Association.

Other survivors include two sons, Steven Wilson and wife, Mary (Allen), Wichita, and Mark Wilson, Austin, Texas; one daughter, Lynn Strachan and husband, Kevin, Miri, Malaysia; and two grandsons, Jacob and Nicholas Wilson.

o Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Miller Chapel.

Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Disabled American Veterans in care of Miller Mortuary.
