HUGOTON – Robert Wayne Hamilton, 87, died Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at the Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton.

He was born May 18,1927 to Walter E. and Lilly M. (Cook) Hamilton in Hugoton.

He married Helen Crawford on Nov. 15,1945 in Newton. She survives.

He was a member of First Christian Church, VFW and American Legion of Hugoton.

He served during the Korean Conflict.

Survivors also include son, Kenneth Wayne Hamilton and wife, Jana, Liberal; brother, Manny Hamilton, Pueblo, Colo.; Hazel Coonts, Denver; three grandchildren: Michelle Paulsen, Jaci Stratton and Joshua Hamilton; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Audine Holt.

• Memorial services will be on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Hugoton.

Burial will be at the Hugoton Cemetery in Hugoton.

Friends may call on Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Paul's Funeral Home in Hugoton.
