The Seward County Republican Party will meet at 6 p.m. today at the Seward County Commission Chambers of the Seward County Administration Building.

With the retirement of Seward County Treasurer Sherry Wilson (R), precinct committeemen and committeewomen will hear from candidates interested in filling the position. They will have an opportunity to ask questions, then vote for a recommendation for replacement to be taken at 7 p.m. This recommendation will be forwarded to the governor’s office for final approval.

This meeting is open to the public.
