Daily Leader staff report

Southwestern Heights juniors Deni Jacobs and Heidi Brown were recognized as Hi-PLains Unanimous All League players for their contributions this season.

Jacobs and Brown were critical to the success off the Lady Mustangs this season. Jacobs battled through a knee injury while Brown continued to be a force throughout the season.

Senior Kathy Eakes was named to the Hi-PLains All-League squad. Eakes used her size to frustrate her opponents  on defense while being able to hit the inside shot at will for the Lady Mustangs.

Seniors Britny Butler and Lindsay Garinger were named to the Hi-Plains League honorable mention team.

The Lady Mustangs turned in a 30-1 season
