LIBERAL – Josefina Toscano De La Torre, 68, died, Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at her home in Liberal.
She was born April 8, 1946 to Isidro De la Torre and Modesta Marquez in San Juan de los Lagos, Jalisco Mexico.
She married Jose Toscano on March 28, 1981 in Los Angeles. He survives.
She was loving homemaker.
She was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Survivors also include three daughters: Christina Toscano Perez and husband, Augustin, Los Angeles, Angelica Chantharath and husband, Wilda, Amarillo, Texas and Teresa Meza and husband, Juan, Liberal; brothers, Luis De la Torre San Juan, Mexico and Jesus De la Torre San Juan, Mexico; sisters Maria De la Paz, San Juan, Mexico and Virginia De la Paz, San Juan, Mexico; five grandchildren: Marina Maggie Felix, Anthony Wilda Chantharath, Natalie Bella Toscano, Vianka Yoselin and Sofia Aylin Meza.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters: Carmen De la Torre, Felicitas De la Torre and Basilides De la Torre; and two brothers, Refujio De la Torre and Mariano De la Torre.
• Rosary and vigil service will be at 8 p.m. tonight at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Liberal.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m.. Saturday at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Liberal with Father James Dieker presiding.
Burial will be at Liberal Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Brenneman Funeral Home.
