Obituary

 

Pearl Fowler, 88, died Friday, June 27, 2014, at Liberal Good Samaritan Center.

She was born on Nov. 29, 1925, to John Henry and Sarah Jane Branstetter in Barry, Mo.

She married Calvin L. Fowler on Feb. 23, 1945, in Berryville, Ark. He preceded her in death.

She obtained her GED in 1993.

She was an Independent Avon Rep. and she ran a dog breeding business with her son.

She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church of Liberal.

She enjoyed gardening and crocheting.

She is survived by sons, David Fowler, Liberal, Brian Fowler, Liberal, and Tim Fowler and wife, Arla; sister, Norma Asher, Castleville, Mo.; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters.

• Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Liberal Good Samaritan Center Chapel.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Liberal City Cemetery.
