Obituary

 

Mari Carmen (Franco) Nava, age 36, died June 6, 2014 in Beaver, Oklahoma.

She was born Dec. 1, 1977 in Elkhart, to Carmen Franco and Josefina (Alvarado) Franco.

After receiving her education, she married and became a proud mother.  She was a devoted mother, daughter and sister.

She was known as a good listener and good friend.

She enjoyed cooking.

She attended St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Elkhart.

She is survived by her parents; sons, Jaime Franco, Carlos Martinez, Hagerman, and Jorge Martinez; daughter, Emilie Franco; brothers, Emilio Franco, George Franco, Efrain Franco, Alex Franco, and Fernando Franco; sisters, Maria Calderon, Lucima Martinez, and Ana Franco; and grandfather, Eluterio Alvarado.

• Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 14 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Elkhart with the Reverend Francis Khoi Nguyen presiding.

Burial will follow at the Elkhart Cemetery.

Friends may call Friday, June 13 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Garnand Funeral Home in Elkhart.
