The Cardinals moved one game away from a perfect regular and post season Monday with a 22-3 win over the Tigers in the second round of the Cal Ripken League Tournament.

The Cardinals fell behind 2-0 midway through the first inning, and after regaining one of those runs still trailed 21 with two outs in the bottom of the first.

But the Cardinals scored 11 more times before the Tigers could record the first out, and the Cardinals led 12-2.

The Tigers added one more run later, but the Cardinals continued to pour out runs over the next two innings to cruise to the 22-3 win.

The Cardinals will face the White Sox for the title tonight.
