Telesforo Lujan, 67, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, at the Kansas Medical Center in Andover.
He was born on July 23, 1941, to Domingo and Macedonia (Ortega) Lujan in Boquilla, Chihuahua, Mexico.
He married Luz Nunez Dec. 26, 1967, in Mexico. She survives.
He worked as a laborer in agriculture.
He is also survived by two sons, Telesforo Lujan Jr. and wife, Liliana, Olathe, and Dionicio Lujan and wife, Ilda, Amarillo, Texas; two daughters, Araceli Rios and husband, Jose, Liberal, and Julia Cabrales and husband, Manuel, Liberal; one brother, Domingo Lujan Jr., Kermit, Texas; one sister, Rosa Elva Lerma, Julimez, Chihuahua, Mexico; and eight grandchildren, Karina Rios, Victoria Rios, Julian Cabrales, Yovanka Cabrales, Dominique Lujan, Yeneth Lujan, Halle Lujan and Kade Lujan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Juan Lujan.
o Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Primera Iglesia Baptista in Liberal with Pastor Bernabe Aguilar presiding.
Burial will be at Restlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home.
