GARDEN CITY – Donald D. Robinson, 78, died on Friday, March 28, 2014 at his home in Garden City.
He was born on July 1, 1935 to Artie and June McCullough Robinson in Olsburg.
He married Loretta Faye Wilson in Canadian, Texas on July 23, 1958. She survives.
He was a self-employed carpenter and a district management salesman for Guys Food for 20 years, then drove his own truck for Huber Sand Company, retiring in the late 1990’s.
He served as Military Police with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict, and was a member of the American Legion.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, country western music and spending time with his family.
Survivors include son, Rod Robinson, Garden City; daughter, Karleen Huber, Garden City; sisters, Delores Angel Loveland, Colo. and Pat Burch, Sublette;
six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Wayne Robinson.
• Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City.
Military Honors will be held following services at the Bell Tower in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.
There will be no public visitation.
Memorials are suggested to the Donald Robinson Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home.
