ROLLA – Pearl Williams, 93, died Monday, March 31, 2014 at Pioneer Manor in Hugoton.
She was born Dec. 8, 1920 to Ed and Minnie (Price) Stout in Rolla.
She married Charles H. Williams on September 25, 1940 in Johnson. He preceded her in death in 1991
She graduated from Rolla High School.
She worked as a cook at Rolla Grade School.
They lived in Colorado for a few years and raised sheep and shared the farming responsibilities.
She was also a good cook and accomplished in embroidery.
She belonged to A-Muse-U Club while living in the Dermont area.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Rolla.
Survivors include daughters, Charlotte Veatch and husband, Robert of Hugoton, and Junnae Landry and husband Stephen of Pratt; two grandchildren, Aaron B. Landry and Ryan A. Landry.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers: Price Stout, Merle Stout and Virgil Stout; and sister, Stella Thompson.
• Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the United Methodist Church in Rolla with Pastor Sandy Ferguson officiating.
Burial will follow at the Rolla Cemetery.
Friends may call Friday, April 4, 2014 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., with family present, at Garnand Funeral Home in Hugoton.
