Longtime Liberal business owner Rozelle Webb has announced the sale of her shop, The Flower Basket, after spending 32-and-half years in the business.
The new owner of the store, located in downtown Liberal, is Beth Nickeson of Turpin, Okla.
“I’m very happy that Beth has purchased the business,” Webb said. “She has 10 years experience in the floral industry and really has a heart for this kind of work.”
Nickeson is excited about the new venture.
“I want to provide quality products at affordable prices and continue the same great service that this store has provided throughout the years,” Nickeson said.
Though Rozelle is retiring from the floral business, she said she will miss her loyal customers.
“For me, the shop has provided the opportunity to help people during their happiest times, as well as helping them through their saddest times,” Webb said. “I have had so many great customers through the years, and I know Beth will do an excellent job of taking care of their needs.”
Nickeson is looking forward to working with The Flower Basket’s longtime customers, as the shop’s name will remain the same.
“I am anxious to meet and serve all the loyal customers of The Flower Basket,” she said.
