• L&T staff report

Liberal High School is once again planning to offer summer driver education.

At this time, any student 14 years or older and passing the eighth grade and interested in driver education this summer should contact Janet Heston, LHS registrar, at 620-604-1209 by April 4.

While it will be the intention to provide driver education instruction to as many students as possible, if the availability of instructors should limit the number of students enrolled, students’ slots will be based on birth dates with the oldest students given first consideration.

The first 80 students that pay in full will be in the class. Once the selection has been made, all students who registered will be notified. The dates for the class will be June 2 through 26, concurrent with regular summer school.

The cost of the summer driver education program will again be $150 payable to Liberal USD 480. Further information regarding enrollment dates, class schedules and student driving schedules will be forthcoming.
