Obituary

 

HUGOTON – Elvas Phillip Clark, 74, died Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home, Hugoton.

He was born August 27, 1939 to William and Margaret (Pitts) Clark in Stevens County.

He was a carpenter and enjoyed his family and friends.

Survivors include son, Darren Clark and wife Barbara, Ellsworth; daughter, Tammy Slocum and husband Trent, Hugoton; brothers: Jerald Clark and wife Permelia, Moscow; Larry Clark and wife Cathy, Hugoton; Jerry Clark and wife Vicki, Bristow, Okla.; sister, Vivian Beavers, Sunray, Texas; five grandchildren: Taylor Slocum, Gentry Slocum and wife Kaley, Aleshia Esrey and husband Matt, Jarrod Purrit and wife Heather, Josh Purrit; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Ronnie, Bill & Jack Clark.

• Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hugoton Cemetery with Pastor Larry Bradford presiding.

Friends may call Tuesday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
