Benito L. Ybarra, 88, died Sunday, March 16, 2014, at Stanton County Long Term Care Unit in Johnson, Kansas. 
He was born June 30, 1925, to Antonio and Juanita (Leal) Ybarra in Chihuahua, Mexico.
He married Cesaria G. Gonzalez in Aug. 1972 in Johnson. 
He enjoyed being outside, working in the garden and repairing small engines. 
He attended services at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Johnson.
Survivors include his wife; sons: Bennie Ybarra, Johnson, Jessie Ybarra, Pratt, Ramon Ybarra, Manter, and Tony Ybarra, Emporia; daughter, Maggie Boldridge, Emporia; sisters, Antonia and Martha both of Texas; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and four siblings.
o Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Johnson with the Reverend Peter Fernandez presiding.
