HUGOTON – James Keith Peachey, 66, died Friday, Feb. 26, 2010, at Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton.
He was born June 17, 1943, to Earl and Thelma (Ray) Peachey, in Stevens County.
He married Pamela Ewert June 27, 1964, in Liberal. She survives.
He served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He was a farmer and pastor of Living Water Fellowship in Kenton, Okla., until 1998 and then pastor of My Father’s House in Hugoton.
He enjoyed visiting with his many friends.
Other survivors include one daughter, Jill Peachey, Hugoton; one sister, Donna Marsh and husband, Glen, Albuquerque, N.M.; two grandsons, Norin Lopez and Teague Peachey; one granddaughter, Alyssa Peachey, all of Hugoton; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Earline Burbaker.
o Military graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Hugoton Cemetery. Those who want to follow in funeral precision to graveside meet at 1 p.m. at Paul’s Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life services will follow at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Christian Church in Hugoton with Pastor Craig Atkinson presiding.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
