BEAVER, Okla. – Reuben Anderson Parker, 73, died Monday, March 3 at the Beaver County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Dec. 3, 1940 to Reuben Anderson and Flora Elizabeth (Patee) Parker in Beaver  County, Okla.

He married Sandra Diane Marshall on March 24, 1962 in Canyon, Texas.

He was a former deputy sheriff with the Beaver County Sheriff’s Office.

He was a member of the Oklahoma Sheriff’s Association.

Survivors include his wife; son, Reuben Parker Jr., Beaver, Okla.; daughter, Jeannie Ann Hale, Edmond, Okla.; brothers, Jake Parker and Otto Parker, Beaver, Okla.; sisters: Ima Loftin, Amarillo, Texas, Louise Behrends, Jones, Neb., and Lucille Dejonge, Jones, Neb.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

• Funeral services were Friday in the Beaver High School Auditorium with Rick Main presiding.

Burial was at the Pioneer Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Beaver County Sheriff’s office memorial fund or the Emergency Services, Fire or Ambulance or charity of their choice.
