Around 9:50 p.m. Friday, officers with the Liberal Police Department responded to Southwest Medical Center for a report of two victims of knife wounds, according to a report from Liberal Police Capt. Pat McClurg.
“Responding officers contacted a 36-year-old male and a 37-year-old male with apparent injuries,” the release said.
McClurg said investigators learned about an altercation that had occurred at 902 S. Washington.
“Both victims received lacerations during the altercation and were treated at Southwest Medical Center,” he said. “Their injuries were not life-threatening.”
McClurg later issued a second press release stating the suspects were located around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday during a traffic stop at Second and Kansas in Liberal.

McClurg said two other adults were apprehended at the time of the traffic stop without incident.
