Cecil (C.R.) Raymond Wilson, 82, died Feb. 20, 2014.

He was born on Sept. 26, 1932, to Cecil and Myrtle (Goodale) Wilson.

He attended school in Laverne Okla. He also participated in football, basketball, track and band during his high school years. He attended Panhandle State University where he earned a degree in accounting. He also earned a masters degree in education from Pittsburg State University. He obtained  a Private Pilot rating, a Certified Flight Instructor rating, in addition to a Airframe and  Power-train  mechanic certificate.

After college, he was pastor of two churches, Bethel Community Church in Magnolia, Ark. and Apostolic Faith Mission in Cheney. He was a general contractor in the area. After receiving his degree, he became the bricklaying instructor at Liberal Area Vo-Tech, where he taught for 17 years.

He loved to snow ski and water ski and spent time boating with family.

He is survived by wife, Dorothy; son, Terry (Deborah) Wilson, Houston; daughter, Brenda (Mark) Tackett, Santo, Texas;  sister, Velma Barclay, Henderson, Texas; grandchildren, Shawna (Dana) Stewart, Flint, Texas; Jennifer (Ben) Speer, League City, Texas;  Melissa (Luke) Mezger, Austin Texas; Jeremy (Jessica) Wilson, Mansfield, Texas;, Kimberly Laurel, League City, Texas; Tara (Robby) Penny, Aledo Texas; Andrew Tackett, Aledo, Texas; Tori Tackett,  Santo, Texas; and Brandon Wilson, Houston;  great-grandchildren, Bailey, Blake  and Blair Mezger; Morgan, Madeline, and Taylor Stewart. Luke and Colin Speer and Colt Penny; many nieces and nephews;  brother in-law, Wendell (Jan) Wilson, Nexa, Mo.; brother-in-law Bob Bond, Gate, Okla.; sister-in-law Wanda Wilson, Fort Supply, Okla.; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant brothers, Raymond and Kenneth; three brothers, Harold, Paul (Dick) and Bob; an infant sister, Barbara; and two sisters, Josephine and Marjorie.

• Funeral services will be 2 p.m. March 1 at the First Assembly of God in Laverne, Okla., with the Rev. Bill Hobson, the Rev. Dalkey Davis and Tom Patterson presiding.

Burial will be at Laverne Cemetery.
