The Waynoka Railroaders ran into a freight train known as the Forgan Bulldogs Thursday night in the first round of the Class B Regionals at Shattuck. Forgan forced the Railroaders into 28 turnovers and cruised to a 77-32 win.
Forgan was 24 of 44 from 2-point range; 6 of 25 from 3-point range, and 11 of 13 from the free throw line.
Waynoka was held to just 30 percent from the field, took 29 fewer shots, and only got to the free throw line nine times (6 of 9).
Forgan jumped out to an 18-6 lead in the first quarter, and led 39-14 at half.
The Bulldogs dominated the third 22-8 to push the lead to 39 points (61-22) heading into the fourth.
Forgan outscored Waynoka 16-10 in the fourth to win by 45. Forgan's average margin of victory after three playoff games is now 63.
The Bulldogs advance in the winner's bracket to the Regional Championship game Saturday at 8p.m. at Shattuck against Burlington.
