The Tyrone Lady Bobcats held the Waynoka Lady Railroaders to just two first half points on their way to a 32-21 win in the first round of the regional tournament at Shattuck.

Tyrone took an 8-2 lead in the first quarter then held the Lady Railroaders scoreless in the second to go up 15-2 at half.

Waynoka got their offense going a little in the second half with a10-5 advantage in the third to cut the Lady Bobcats lead back to single digits (20-12) heading into the fourth.

Tyrone maintained in the fourth with a 12-11 advantage to win by nine and advance to round two.

Rayna Wall led the Lady Bobcats offense with 17. Tori Dumler added 7.

Tyrone will take on No.7 Burlington today at 1:30 p.m. in Shattuck in another elimination game.
