KEYES, Okla. – Kenneth Farrell Gloden, 91, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, at his home in rural Texas County, Okla.
He was born Aug. 26, 1922, to Barton Farrell and Dorothea (Richterberg) Gloden in rural Texas County, Okla.
He was a farmer. He served in the United States Army as a medic.
He enjoyed trout fishing. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews; and was always sneaking them cookies. He spent time in his shop working on vehicles and was a woodworker.
Survivors include brothers, Melvin Dean Gloden and wife, Linda, Fort Gibson, Okla., and Bobby Gloden and wife, LoRee, Keyes, Okla.; his sister, Imogene Hetzel and husband, James, Andrews, Texas; and 16 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Emerson Lee; and sister, Maxine.
• Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Elkhart, with Pastor Ed Richards and Pastor Dan Kelly presiding.
Burial will follow at the Elkhart Cemetery in Elkhart.
