The Shattuck Indians hit a runner in the lane with 3.7 seconds left in overtime to beat the Beaver Dusters 50-48 in the third place game of the Buffalo Invitational.

Jordan Jesko went to the line with 24.6 second left and made one of two free throws to tie the game up for the Dusters, but Beaver was unable to stop Shattuck on their final possession.

Garrett Weber finished with 21 points, and Hadley Skaggs added 8.

Beaver fell behind 12-9 in the first quarter, and still trailed by three at half (23-20).

Beaver had their best stretch of the game in the third quarter, outscoring the Indians 16-9 to take a 36-32 lead into the fourth quarter.

Shattuck shut down the Duster offense and was able to knot the game at 42 and force overtime.
