Shattuck overwhelms Lady Bulldogs, 57-24 PDF Print E-mail

The Shattuck Lady Indians came to Forgan Tuesday night with the No.7 ranking and showed why they are so highly ranked in a 57-24 thumping of the Forgan Lady Bulldogs.

Forgan struggled to score against the Lady Indians, falling behind 8-1 by the end of the first quarter.

Forgan trailed 26-6 at the half.

The Lady Bulldogs played better in the second half, scoring 18 points, but could not make up any ground.

Forgan made just 8 of 44 shots from the field, while Shattuck was 21 of 47, including nine 3-point baskets.

Daniela Galindo led the Lady Indians with 28.

Gabby Morales, Alex McBee, and Nikki Taylor each scored five for the Lady Bulldogs.

Forgan will take on Fargo Thursday in the first round of the Buffalo Tournament.
