TYRONE, Okla. – Thelma Irene Bridenstine, 84, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at Pleasant View Home in Inman.
She was born April 22, 1929, to Everett and Carrie (Comstock) Wilkerson in Dombey, Okla.
She married Glen Bridenstine Aug. 27, 1947, in Albuquerque, N.M. He survives.
She attended school in Turpin, Okla.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Trinity Faith Church and the Senior Citizens Center both of Liberal. She was also a member of the Adams Farm Women’s Club and Women’s Aglow.
Other survivors include two sons, Merle Bridenstine and wife, Shirley, Tyrone, Okla., and Galen Bridenstine and wife, Roberta, Turpin, Okla.; one brother, Loyde Wilkerson and wife, Betty, Turpin, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Lawrence, Ralph and Orville Wilkerson.
• Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Faith Church, 1750 S. Kansas Ave., Liberal, with Pastor Michael Miller presiding.
Burial will follow at Union Center Cemetery in Adams, Okla.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. Friday and 9 – 11 a.m. Saturday at Brenneman Funeral Home.
