The annual Elks Hoop Shoot will take place at 9:30  a.m. Saturday in the Greenhouse at Seward County Community College.

The contest is open to boys and girls in three age categories including 8- and 9-year olds, 10- and 11-year-olds and 12- and 13-year-olds.

Participants will shoot 25 free throws, and those that make the most will win basketballs. They will also advance to Pratt for the regional competition that will take place April 1.

Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., and the contest will begin at 10 a.m. There is no cost to participate.
