On behalf of the residents at the Good Samaritan care home, I want to thank those of you who send newspapers to the residents each day.
Most residents cannot afford to subscribe to the paper but still enjoy knowing what is going on around town and out in the world. You would be surprised at what a highlight the arrival of the paper is to so many.
My husband suffered a severe stroke in April of 2012 and is confined to a wheelchair and bed, and I know he enjoys reading about people and things he knew about before his stroke.
We have been residents of this area for over 50 years. Your paper helps him to stay in touch with the world outside, and I thank you for that.
Most read the paper and pass it on to others.
Bless you, your staff and those who deliver the paper each day. Merry Christmas and may God send you many bellings in the new year.
