Donna B. Shilling, 82, of Tyrone, Oklahoma passed away December 14, 2013, at her home.
Donna Barbara Shilling was born July 20, 1931, in Mouser, Oklahoma, the daughter of Carl and Millie Lena Wadley Stalcup.
She attended school in Tyrone, graduating from Tyrone High School with the Class of 1950.
On October 28, 1950, in Liberal, Kansas, Donna was united in marriage to Robert Lee "Bob" Shilling. They made Tyrone their home.
Donna enjoyed cooking, her flower garden, caring for stray dogs and cats. She was a faithful visitor at the Liberal nursing homes to see about her friends, was a Bobcat Booster and helped in the concession stand with the good things she made. They called her Grandma Donna as she was always ready to help. Family vacations and family time were special to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bob on December 18, 2004; her son Jerald Shilling, and a sister, Shirley Robinson.
Survivors include her sons, John and Debbie Shilling of Tyrone, Oklahoma, and Jerry and Beth Shilling of Kingfisher, Oklahoma; her daughter, Janell Ruback of Tyrone, Oklahoma; a sister, Sonya and Charles Payne of Tyrone, Oklahoma; a brother, Richard and Corky Stalcup of Tyrone, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Jason and Kara Shilling of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jennifer and Bob Davis of Woodward, Oklahoma, Brooke and Jay Caffey of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Julie and Matt Huffman of Liberal, Kansas, Janessa Ruback and Joanna Ruback both of Tyrone, Oklahoma; nine great grandchildren, Preston and Madison Davis, Jhett and Jag Huffman, Caden, Cruz and Macie Caffey, Evan and Karson Shilling.
• Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at the Tyrone Church of Christ with Richard Dent officiating.
Interment will be in the Tyrone Cemetery directed by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home in Hooker, Oklahoma.
Memorials are suggested to the Guymon Home Health & Hospice and may be left at the Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Box 745, Hooker, Oklahoma, 73945.
