Parade float winners take home more than $800

Grand Champion went to Cowboy’s Custom Cabinets, which earned $250 from sponsor Al Shank Insurance.

Mortgages Unlimited sponsored the Home for the Holidays Judges Choice which paid $200 to the NOVA Youth Group.

Al Shank also sponsored the Kids Entry prize of $100 which went to the Danza Apache Dancers from St. Anthony’s Church.

The $100 Busy Bee Kids entry sponsored by First National Bank was given to the Leader & Times News in Education entry.

First National Bank also sponsored $100 for the  Best Illumination category, which went to WestKan Apartments.

The Heritage Award for best non-profit went to The Matachines Dancers who won $75.

The Bank of Beaver City sponsored $50 for the Best Automobile, which was won by Richard Layman for his 1947 Ford.

Cross Roads won Best Animal category and $50 from the Leader & Times.

The “Rock On” Award of a basket with gift certificates and other surprises from the downtown businesses went to the Rotary Club for most creative.

The volunteer judges were Stanley Cordova, Jean Ann Foster, Jo Anne Mansell, Frank Challis and James Jackson.
