The Hugoton Lady Eagles advanced to the finals of the Blue and Red Classic Friday night with a 48-42 win over the Gruver Lady Greyhounds.

Hugoton grabbed an early lead, and never looked back in the win.

After the first half of play the Lady Eagles led by seven, 25-18.

The Lady Greyhounds put a strong fourth quarter showing together, but fell short in their attempts.

Amy Scott led the Lady Eagles with 19 points in the win, and Katy Heger added 11. Estefami Armendariz chipped in with eight.

Hugoton played the Hooker Lady Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in the finals of the Blue and Red Classic.
