The Forgan Bulldogs picked up another win Wednesday, defeating the Laverne Tigers JV team 72-39 to improve to 3-0 on the year.

Forgan started hot, running out to a 26-10 lead by the end of the first quarter. By the end of the first half, the Bulldogs had extened their lead to 40-21.

The second half was more of the same as Forgan outscored the Tigers 15-11 in the third to push the score to 55-32.

The Bulldogs defense dominated the final quarter, allowing Laverne only seven points in the fourth, and running away with the 72-39 victory.

Forgan shot 47 percent from the field for the game, while the Tigers shot 36 percent. Both teams had 21 three-point attempts in the game. The Bulldogs made six of those attempts, and the Tigers made five.

Forgan will play the Buffalo Bison at 8 p.m. tonight in the next round of the Laverne Invitational.
