While South’s seventh graders struggled at home against Horace Good Thursday, the eighth graders struggled against the Lady Hawks in Garden City.

Without their starting point guard, the Lady Apache eight graders lost on the road, 41-14. The B-team lost 20-10.

The Lasy Apache seventh graders played close in the first quarter, only trailing 5-2, but a 16-0 Horace Good second quarter put the game out of reach.

The Lady Apaches only managed one more basket in the second half in a 29-4 loss.

Sabrina Pacheco scored both baskets for the Lady Apaches.

In the B-game, South lsot 28-3.

Emily Buero scored a bsket and Karena Kravel had a free throw in the loss.
