The Seward County 4-H Council hosted its annual 4-H Achievement Celebration Saturday afternoon at El Rancho Exotica. After 4-H members and their families roamed the zoo-like ranch observing the exotic animals and birds, the celebration continued with Record Book Awards and Membership Achievement Pins passed out. (See list below).
Recognition of Club Leaders went out to Vicky Yorio, Michelle Bremenkamp and Naomi Vargas from the Wide Awake 4-H Club.

The Ornery Otters 4-H Club Recognized Club Leaders Jerrilynn Wood and Brandee Cochran.
Club leaders Nikki Whitaker, Christina Abel were recognized for their work with the Robotics SPIN Club
Larry Phillips, Greg Standard and Tracy Gutierrez were recognized for their work with the Shooting Sports SPIN Club.
Cloverbud leaders Tanya Vazquez and LeAnn Akins were honored.
Recognition of Project Leaders included Jane Eisenhauer in Foods and Nutrition; LeAnn Akins for her work with Dog and Photography; William Bryan with Rabbits; Sherri Lamont for Horse; Barbara Blackmore in Foods and Nutrition; Chris Standard for Horse; Trevor Winchester with Beef and Livestock Judging and Barbara Fitzgerald in Dog.
Ornery Otters honored Brandee Cochran with a Friend of 4-H Award.
Wide Awake honored Larry Phillips and Greg Standard with Friend of 4-H plaques
Seward County 4-H Council honored Mary Lambert as a Friend of 4-H Award.
Jesslin Lamont, Colton Louderback, Jared Fox and Amy Fox were recognized as top camp counselors.
The Trip Award Winners were: Senior – Jesslin Lamont; Intermediate – Brandon Yorio and Emily Headrick; Junior – Charlee Cochran, Kelsey Vargas and Sarah Headrick
The Outstanding 4-Her Awards went to: Senior – Jesslin Lamont; Intermediate – Brandon Yorio; and Junior – Jentre Smith.
