Delores Ann (Wheeler) Woody, 84, died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, after losing a battle with cancer.

She was born April 10, 1929, to Lynne A. and Thelma McNew Wheeler in Turpin, Okla.

She married Robert Thomas “Tommy” Woody Sept. 12, 1948. He died June 29, 1999.

She is survived by children, Rock Alan (Martha) Woody, Portland, Texas; her daughter, Tracy Anny Woody, Austin, Texas; brother, Kerry (Arlene) Wheeler, Turpin; her sister, Karen (Stanley) Lehnert, Liberal; grandson, Michael Polderman, Portland, Texas; and sister-in-law, Betty Perdue, Colorado Springs, Colo.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Kathlyn Rowley and Shirlene Williams.

• Graveside services will be at a later date in Liberal.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in Delores’ name to the charity of the donor’s choice.
