ULYSSES – Doyle Carlock, 79, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, at The Legacy at Park View in Ulysses.
He was born Oct. 25, 1933, the son of Lois George and Johnnie (Warlo) Carlock, in Cleburne, Texas.
He married Mary Nabors in Mexia, Texas.
He worked in construction operating a Maintainer for many years. 
He loved fishing and watching John Wayne movies.
Survivors include his children, Debbie Barfield, Corpus Christi, Texas, Dee Dee Fanning and husband, Mike, Ulysses, Duane Carlock,  and Denise Sena, Clovis, N.M.; two sisters, Janell Moss,  Teague, Texas, Teresa Burns,  Round Rock, Texas; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one granddaughter.
• Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Garnand Funeral Home Chapel in Ulysses, with Pastor Gerry Dupuis presiding. 
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Faulkenberry Cemetery in Groesbeck, Texas. 
Arrangements are in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant, Ulysses, KS 67880.
