Alta Gracie Davis, 76, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, in Perryton, Texas.

She was born June 10, 1937, to James Richard and Mabel Elizabeth (Patton) Akridge in Seymour, Texas.

She married Cecil C. Davis March 6, 1954, in Pecos, Texas. He died Oct. 5, 2007.

She attended school through the eighth grade.

She was a homemaker most of her life.

She is survived by her son, Jimmy Solomon, Amarillo, Texas; her daughters, Carol Lewis, Perryton, Libby Dixon, Colby, and Cheryl Bouthillier, Spanish Fork, Utah; her sister, Ruby Jacobs, Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

• Funeral services were at 2 p.m. today at the Beaver First Baptist Church with Danny Hendricks presiding.

Burial will be at the Pioneer Cemetery.
