Obituary

ABILENE – Richard L. Bradberry, 69, died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, at home.

He was born April 13, 1944, to Dorsie M. and Virginia G. (Gunnoe) Bradberry in Forest Hills W.Va.

He married Gladys E. Williams June 13, 1977, in Parisburg, Va. She survives.

He attended schools in Cleveland.

In 1963, he entered the Army. After 34 years, he retired from the Army. Later, he was employed by Solomon Corporation, retiring in 2011.

He is  also survived by twin sons, Ed Ward and wife, Jennifer, Abilene, and Gene Ward and wife, Christy, Liberal; daughter, Stacy Raab and husband, Don, Abilene; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

• Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Danner Funeral Home with cremation to follow.

Private family burial will take place at a later date.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Danner Funeral Home.

Memorials are suggested to the Elsie Brooks Cancer Fund and may be left at or sent in care of the Danner Funeral Home, P.O. Box 758 Abilene, KS 67410.
