Dale Elmer “Sonny” Williams Jr., 70, died Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at his home.
He was born Feb. 21, 1943, to Dale and Mildred Van Antwerp Williams Sr. in Beaver, Okla.
He married Kathy McCollum in 1962.
He then married Kim Clark April 21, 2001. She survives.
He attended Baker school, graduating from Eureka High School.
He was a farmer and raised horses and was a member of the American Paint Horse and Quarter Horse Association. He worked in the Seward County ASCS office for 10 years. Dale had worked with the Oklahoman for the last 11 years.
He enjoyed fishing and boating.
He is also survived by two sons; one stepson; one sister, Luann Phele, Richardson, Texas; two granddaughters; one step grandson; two step granddaughters; one niece, Melissa; and one nephew, Michael.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
• Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Tyrone Cemetery with Pastor Larry Bradford of the Moscow Baptist Church presiding.
