HUGOTON – Eldon Lee Nichols, 64, died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton.
He was born Sept. 16, 1948, to  Robert Eugene and Evelyn Marie (Newton) Nichols in Colorado Springs, Colo.
He married Judy L. Craghead Oct. 17, 1969, in Manter. She survives.
He is survived by two sons, Jason Nichols and wife, Jessica, Hugoton, Marcus Nichols and wife, Mindy, Redondo Beach, Calif.; mother; one brother, Randall Nichols, Hutchinson; two sisters, Louise Tharp, Raetta Wilson, both of Hutchinson; three granddaughters, Abagil Nichols, Ericka Nichols and Kyla Nichols; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Eugene Nichols.
• Memorials are suggested to the Eldon Lee Nichols Memorial Fund  and may be mailed to Paul's Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.
