SUBLETTE – Edward Roy “Ed” Williamson, 61, died Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at his home in Sublette.
He was born Sept. 25, 1951, to Frank and Virgie (Case) Williamson.
He married Roberta Creathbaum Aug. 4, 1970, in Liberal. She survives.
He graduated from Liberal High School in 1970.
He worked as a Yard Foreman at Cattle Empire for 29 years.
His hobbies included hunting and fishing, Nebraska Cornhusker football, and he was a fan of Dale Earnhardt, Jr. racing.
Other survivors include one son, Ryan Williamson, Sublette; one daughter, Jamie Williamson; San Antonio; one sister, Beverly Warden, Liberal; and two grandchildren, Kenedy Petty and Brice Williamson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Karen Riggle; one brother, Frank “Boon” Williamson; and two infant sisters, Angela Sue and Theresa Joy Williamson.
• Private family graveside service will be Thursday at Balko Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday with family present to receive friends at Brenneman Funeral Home.
